CRIMINALIZATION OF POLITICS IN INDIA

Image
The criminalization of politics means the participation of criminals in politics. This means that persons with criminal backgrounds contest in the election and get selected as a member of parliament or state legislature.  It is said that the politics had reached a stage where the lawmakers became the lawbreakers . In a democratic country like India, the increasing nexus between criminals and politics threatens the survival of true democracy. It is now becoming a trend, people with criminal backgrounds have more influence in politics than people without criminal backgrounds. The increasing percentage of members of parliament who have a criminal background: 2004- 24% ,  2009-30% , 2014-34% , 2019-43% Nearly 50% of MPs in the new Lok Sabha have criminal records . THEORY OF DEVELOPMENT AND CONFLICT

Development should be viewed as a process rather than a finished result. Societies are in constant flux. Others succeed, while others fail. The goal of development theory is to explain both processes. The goal of development practice is to give tools that may be used throughout entire civilizations or communities. Such interventions aim to transfer communities or societies from a state where they are thought to be in poorer shape to a state where they are thought to be in better shape. During the 1980s and 1990s, both within big firms and within academia, there was a surge in interest in business ethics. Most big firms, for example, now emphasize their devotion to non-economic ideals under terms like ethics codes and social responsibility charters. "People of the same trade rarely get together, ...

INTERNATIONAL ETHICS AND FUNDING

Ethics is the study of a moral code of conduct or ideal behaviour that humans should strive for. It also serves as a guide to the field of international relations. International ethics is a branch of international relations theory concerned with the scope and extent of ethical obligations between nations in a globalised world. It explains how countries and other entities regard other countries and their citizens. It provides direction to the international community on how to address global concerns. The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), for example, has aided in the equitable distribution of resources in the world's oceans. There has been a lot of progress in the resurgence of ethics in modern International Relations. Scholars have been debating the appropriate behaviour of states, institutions, and people for decades.  International ethics:  International ethics is defined as the benefits that international interactions, exchanges, and relationships ca...
